Bennet Hayes Eiermann, Jr., also known as Bam Bam, was born on November 14, 1992 in Urbana, IL to Vivian Davis and Bennet Eiermann, Sr.
Bennet attended Champaign Unit #4 Schools. He attended Garden Hills Elementary School, Franklin Middle School, and graduated from Central High School.
He worked alongside his dad as a mason and enjoyed cutting hair as a barber. As a child, he loved playing video games, skateboarding, drawing, skating, building tents, watching High School Musical and Martin, and rapping Jeezy. Nothing gave Bennet more energy and joy than spending time with his family and friends. If you were a friend, then you were family. Those who knew Bennet also knew his smile lit up the room and put everyone around him at ease. Bennet enjoyed cooking, making people laugh, playing rapping games with his friends, speaking “Spanglish”, and attending the mosque with his dad.
Bennet always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He enjoyed life, family and friends, and was always there to brighten the lives of others. So, if it feels like the sun is shining a little bit brighter or the moon’s glow is slightly more intense, just know it is Bennet smiling to let you know it’s all love.
Nothing gave Bennet more joy than spending time with his son, Ah’Mir, his spitting image. Ah’Mir was the symbol of everything that was good and decent in Bennet’s life. As much as Bennet’s smile brought light into everyone’s life, Ah’Mir was the source of that light. The time they spent together solidified a father-son bond that cannot be matched.
