Artia Qiana Denise Driver, 47, of Danville, Illinois gracefully transitioned from this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born on August 31, 1976 to her loving mother Linda L. Robinson and father Artis Driver Sr.
After her completion of school, Artia went on to obtain her CNA license from Danville Area Community College Artia, affectiously known as “Tia”, pursued her medical career for nineyears working at numerous nursing homes doing what she loved and was best known for; taking care of others. Tia enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, occasionally repairing things and just enjoying the simple things in life.
Tia embodied nothing short of strong and beautiful inside out. She was always willing to extend out a hand to those in need, letting you know that if she had it and you were in need, it was yours with no questions asked. Tia was a mother, sister, cousin, and dear friend to many. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her will always remember her great sense of humor, no nonsense tolerance and her beautiful heart.
Tia leaves behind to cherish her memories, her two childrenTa’Niya (D’ryn) Driver and Ta’Nyjai Driver, Danville, IL; three sisters: Ardis-Denise (LouRengo) Summers, A’Rosha (Senqua) Minter, and Ashley Elam; seven brothers: Artis (Kristan) Driver Jr., Artaii (Aireale) Driver, Arvis Driver, Averion Driver, Robert (Bella) Elam Jr., Ireland (JoJo) Driver, and Arjay Driver; two grandchildren: India Smith and Ny’Arii Cunningham. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, friends and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Artis Driver Sr. and Linda L. Robinson; grandparents Josephine Driver, Pete Davis, Roland Hurd, and Ora Lee Robinson; one grandchild Ma’saiSmith and niece J’Nyla Jean.
A visitation will held at 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon Saturday March 2, 2024 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville.
