Anthony Dwayne Jones

Honoring the celebration of Anthony Dwayne Jones, 60 years of Danville IL., passed this life at 11:02 am on January 23, 2020. Anthony Dwayne Jones was born September 3, 1958 to Lillie B. Jones and William Jones Sr.

Anthony graduated Danville High School and he worked at Lakeview Hospital. After graduating high school he enlisted in the army. Anthony also did volunteer work at the V.A. Veterans Affairs Hospital where he delivered the mail. He loved singing and playing the piano for the community. Playing the piano for the residents and throughout the community. Playing the piano was his passion, he was also a football and a basketball fan.

Anthony leaves to cherish in his memory three sisters; Deborah Jones, Cheryl Jones both of Danville IL., Gloria (Steve) Spear of Mattoon IL., two brothers Jeff (Debra) Jones of Danville IL., William Jones Jr. of Myrtle Beach SC., a special friend Terry Severado and a special niece Casy Span, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, mother, father, two nieces, and a sister Willie Jones.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday February 1, 2020 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of the service. Officiating Rev. Frank J McCullough. Interment will be at 10:00 am Monday February 3, 2020 at Danville National Cemetery.
