Angela Denise Hill passed this life at 1:15 Wednesday, February 13, 2024 surrounded by her family
Angela was born November 23, 1964 to Andrew Hill and Ethel Lee Mcgrown. Angela attended Danville area schools and was a graduate of Danville High School. Angela enjoyed reading, listening to gospel music,cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Angela accepted Christ at an early age where she was a member of Word of Life Mt.Zion Church. She served on the usher board as well as sang in the choir. Angela leaves to cherish in her memories her Paternal father Andrew(Ellen) Hill, her daughter Larisa (Rickey)Hill, her son James (Katelyn)Hill both of Danville, 7 grand children, and 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mary Dandridge of Chicago IL, Kimberly Dandridge and, Latoya(Terrell) Parrish both of Danville; 4 brothers, Grant Jr Smith of GarlandTx, Juan (Eyvonne) Dandridge of Houston Tx, Andrew Hill Jr of Danville, and Joseph (Saleema)Dandridge of Urbana IL; her grandmother Catherine Mcgrown; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she treated like her own children .She also leaves her Best Friend Dawanda Nalior to cherish her memories.
Angela was proceeded in death by her Dad Grant Lee Dandridge, her mother Ethel Lee Dandridge, her fiancé James Marble, her daughter Ciara Marie Hill, and her brother Kenneth Dandridge.
Angela was a mother figure to her siblings,her grandchildren ,extended family, and many others. She had a warm spirit and a beautiful soul that will live in each and every one of us forever. Any room she walked in she brought joy and a sense of peace. She will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday March 1, 2024 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville.
