Alicia Ann Woodfork, 36, answered God’s call to come home from her labor here on earth on March 10, 2020, at 5:18 pm at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Alicia was born on August 20, 1983, in Danville, Illinois, to Linda Crose Woodfork and Edward S. Woodfork, Sr.
Alicia attended Danville schools. She was currently employed as a CNA at Gardenview Manor in Tilton, Illinois. Alicia really enjoyed working and caring for all the residents. Also, she was a former employee of Danville Care.
Alicia was a member of Lighthouse World Ministries. Her hobbies included playing Dominoes, playing cards, and spending time with her daughters and family.
Alicia will be missed by her mother, Linda; 2 daughters, Angel and Serenity; four sisters, Cynthia Rash of Erie, Pennsylvania, Sherika Hill of Cairo, Illinois, Angela Crose (Lawrence Render) of Danville, and Verma (Gary) Robinson of Blue Springs, Missouri; brother, Randall (Meagan White) of Danville; and a host of nieces, nephews ,cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward S. Woodfork, Sr., and brother, Edward S. Woodfork, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:00 Noon on March 18, 2020 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Officiating Bishop Fredrick I. Leek. Interment will follow after the service at Springhill Cemetery. A public viewing will be held on March 17, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St. Danville.
