Alice was born on June 6, 1939 to Dorothy West-Logwood and Johnny West in Archibald Louisiana.
Alice was a member of Second Baptist Church for over 30 years and attended faithfully until her health started failing. She loved to play cards, bingo, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She also was a wonderful seamstress.
She is survived by her husband D.W. Hall, 4 daughters; Shelia Burton, Dorothy Burton- Cloyd, Grace Hall and Angela Renae Weaver, 3 sons; George Hall, Donald Hall, and a grandson whom was like a son Georgio Hall. Grandchildren; Renetta Gouard, Dr. Sheila Brianna Hall, Tabitha Burton (Shaun) Lewis, Antonio (Liza) Gouard, Krystal (Julius) Coe, Kevin (Jessica) Burton, Rickey Gouard, Tyler (Candace) Brandon, Roy Jones, Shaybriell Weaver, Reginald (Dr. Maya) Cloyd esq., Regina Cloyd, Aniya Parker, Cyrus Hall, Jasmine Hall, Angel Hall, Stephanie Hall, Treyvaugh (Destiny) Weaver, her sister Authorine West and favorite cousins Bob and Willie (Brenda) Bynum, God daughter Debra Kelly, a special family friend Curtis Grant, her sister in love Ethel Jones, her favorite niece Gail Denham, 24 great grand children and lots of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by both of her parents, great grandmother Grace Johnson, 3 brothers Leroy, Charles Ray, and Johnnie, 3 sons James West, Prescott (Rickey) West, and Cyrus Burton. 2 sisters; Johnnie Mae and Leathe Mae.
We love you mom and miss you so much , I know one day the tears will stop but the memories will last forever, rest in heaven.
A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon May 14, 2024 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville. Eulogist: Pastor Ricky Hoskins. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Spring Hill Cemetery.
