Alesha R. Borden

Today we remember & celebrate the life of a loved one

Alesha Rochelle Borden has passed away April 22, 2022 at the age of 34 with her mother at her side.

She is the youngest child of the Alonzo Borden and the great Mrs. Harren Rose Borden. She has four Siblings: Alonzo (Wife), Anthony (Wife), Arenzo (Wife), and Aletha.

She was born on April 28, 1987 and raised in Pompano Beach alongside her niece Brittany Borden. She attended Cypress Elementary, Pompano Beach Middle School, and later Ely High School.

“Poohbee” was the sunshine of our lives. She was always bright, warm-hearted, and welcoming.

She was always meeting and keeping the best of friends. Early on she met the love of her life Frank Michel, whom she shares Da’Braijah Treniece Michel (17 yrs old), and Da’drion Tremel Michel (8 yrs old). In 2010 she welcomed twins Za’Kaira Treniaya Borden and Za’Kori Tremaine Borden (12 yrs old).

Her kids were her prized possession and the core of her being. Her family was her foundation that she leaned on and gracefully supported through everything. Her friends, she regarded and loved as family.

Alesha leaves to cherish her memories to her mother, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Alesha was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday April 30, 2022 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St, Danville. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
