Adrian Jacent Watson Jr.

Adrian Watson Jr., 20 of Danville IL, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana IL.

Adrian was born in Danville, IL. on December 8, 2000 the son of Lalita King and Adrian Watson Sr.  Adrian loved being around family and friends. Adrian was the life of the party, he had a deep passion for music and loved writing and singing (rap) music.  He loved History and working numbers with Math and was an avid LaBron James fan.  He loved hanging with his friends and going to playing basketball.  A.J. was a young man of confidence because he believed in himself and integrity because he stood on what he said.  Adrian was a member and help form the Lighthouse Youth Ministries Group.

Adrian will be missed everyday by his children: Ajayceon, Ajani and Adriyan Watson, his parents; Lalita King, and Adrian (Teonna) Watson Sr., Brothers; Clowzell and Zarius Adams, and Ajoure’ Watson, Sisters; Adrianna, and Amyiah Watson and Ajanae Derrickson, Grandmother; Lisa Watson, Great grandmother; Dessie Watson, a special friend; Josclyn Stewart and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Adrian was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Virgie M. Davis, Laster Cooper, Geneva Givens and John Givens, and Great grandfather; Robert Watson. Great grandmother; Virgie L. King.

A celebration of life will commence Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12 Noon, New Life Church of faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville., Visitation will begin 11:00a.m. until the time of the service.  A public viewing will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 2-5p.m. at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, Danville. Eulogist: Pastor Ricky Hoskins.  Burial: Spring Hill Cemetery
