Timothy Louis Williams, known as “Timmy,” AKA Bug, 60, of Rantoul, formerly of Danville, IL, went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2019 in Champaign, IL, Carle Foundation Hospital.
Timothy was born in Danville, IL to Jo Eddie (Easter), McVay, Williams, and Rufus Williams on August 8, 1959. He went to school at Danville High School. He worked as a Labor for Lauhoff , and Ryan’s as a cook. Timothy loved his family, very much. He had a green thumb like no other, he loved his plants just about as much as he loved his family. Timothy was a loving Uncle, he always looked out for his nieces and nephews. He was always ready and willing to give his advice, and let you know how it was “tell it like it is” kind of person. If he liked you, he loved you, but if he didn’t like you, you knew it. Timmy would say if you don’t want to know the truth don’t ask. If you were Timmy’s friend, you were his family.
Timothy is preceded in death by his mother Easter McVay, Father Rufus Williams, Brother Rufus Williams Jr., and Sister Twana Williams-Archey. Nephew’s Damarria and Jamarria Williams, Great Great Nephew Khalil Young, and a long time special friend Dalbert Brown.
Timothy is survived by his Son, Justin Hill of Danville, IL. Brothers Leroy Williams of San Antonio, Tx , Ricky Williams of Chicago, IL , Kevin (Francine Lynch) Williams of Rantoul, Il, Anthoney (Susie) Williams of West Ampton Township, NJ, Jeffery Williams of Milwaukee, WI, Shawn (Angela) Williams of Boston, MA, Bruce(Cynthia) Hampton of Ind, Edward (Kathy) Washington. Sister Leona Edward Duckworth of Rantoul, IL. Special Aunt’s Lillie Calloway, and Ollie Hale. Longtime family friend (Sis) Nora Emers. Several nieces, and nephews, and great nieces, and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
The family of Timmy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many people that were in Tim’s life that were right there day in and day out to help with his care. Larry, Damion, Julie, all the Dialysis teams, and a special thanks to Nurse “Kevin” at Carle ICU.
