Marva Jean Beasley

Marva Jean Beasely 51 of Danville, transitioned from this life at 11:30 a.m. Sunday July 14, 2019 at Gardenview Manor Nursing Home in Tilton.

She was born January 5, 1968 in Danville, Il. to Lorretta Darnell and Clarence Beasley. Marva was a member of Word of Life Love Ministries, where she worked at the food pantry faithfully. She attended Danville Schools, graduated from Danville High School and attended Danville Area Community College for two years. Marva had an exceptional love for people. She was a very kind, loving person and enjoyed being around children.

Marva leaves to cherish her memories her mother Lorretta Darnell, one sister Di’Ann Darnell of Danville, four brothers; Domanic Darnell, Derrick (Debra) Darnell, Mark Darnell all of Danville, and Edmond (Anita) Darnell of Maryland, special friend Michael Killingham and a host of cousins, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Marva was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, five uncles and one brother.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 noon Tuesday July 23, 2019 at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating: Apostle Charles Hargrove Sr. Internment: Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. in charge of the services.
