Janet Diane Randle

Janet Diane Randle 78 of Danville, Illinois, completed her Earthly Journey on September 2, 2019. Janet was born on June 21, 1942 in Danville, Illinois to Paul Randle and Daisy Harrington. She was a graduate of Danville High School. She was a kind-hearted ambitious woman who loved caring for people. Janet retired from the Danville Veteran Affairs Hospital as a LPN where she served for over 20 years and also worked for Danville Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, flowers, church and spending time with family and friends. Janet was a lifetime member of Allen Chapel AME Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, two children; Brian Randle of Danville Illinois and Paula Randle of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Five grandchildren; Abrion Randle, Contrelius Sloan, Darious Randle, Malik Randle, Zacara Randle and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and Friends. A special niece Nicci and her children. She was preceded by her parents, two sisters, Martha and Carolyn Williams and her eldest grandchild Brion Freeman.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Monday September 9, 2019 at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 503 N. Jackson St. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating: Rev. Dr. C. Calvin Rice. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery. Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. in charge of arrangements.
