Gregory Anding Jr. departed this life on Monday September 16, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by family.

Gregory Anding Jr. was born on December 18, 1951 to Gregory Anding Sr. and Nawassa Louise Walker Anding. Gregory attended Danville public schools. He started working at a very young age. Gregory began working for General Motors in 1972. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service.

Gregory was a family oriented man. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, which was instilled in him by his loving parents. When he was younger Gregory loved to work on cars with his brothers and friends. He was also an avid Chicago Bears and Illini fan. He was also a member of the Bill W program.

Gregory Anding Jr. is survived by his wife Iris Anding of 25 years. Two sons Gregory Jason Anding III, Joseph (Gloria) Moore. Two stepchildren Milton (Precious) Davis Jr, Marilyn Davis. Five sisters Willodene Ridgeway, Jacqueline (Elroy) Clark, Lenora Anding, Brenda Relliford, Carolyn (Felder) Richard. Two brothers David Anding and Larry Anding. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews including special nieces Dionne Anding and Angela Walker. A special friend Earl Miller who came and ministered to him.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents Nawassa Walker Anding and Deacon Gregory Anding Sr. Three brothers Charles Anding, Douglas Walker and Harland Anding.
Also nephew Abel Relliford. Gregory Anding Jr will always be loved and will truly be missed

Services will commence at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 North Bowman Ave., Danville. Visitaion will begin at 10 A.M. until the start of the service. Eulogist Apostle Charles Hargrove. Officiant Pastor Bobby Keys Sr., Burial Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville. A public Viewing will commence from 1-5 P.M. Friday, September 27, 2019 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 East Williams Street, Danville.
