Barbara Jean January LeSure, 59, of Danville, passed this life at 5:35am. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at St.Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Barbara was born in Memphis Tennesse, on August 1, 1951 to Mary January Lewis and the late Lilton Parish.
Barbara was loved by many people. Barbara was a very passionate person. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, doing hair, and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara worked for The Commercial-News in the mailroom from 1988 until 2005.
Barbara leaves to cherish her wounderful memories her mother Mary January Lewis of Danville, five chidren Bridgette January Harris, Shean (Jackie) LeSure, Jesse LeSure jr, Quintella (Robert) Stewart of Danville, and Jason (Bethany) LeSure of Springfield Illinois. Five sisters; Alma Jean Mangum, Sharon McClyde of Danville, Lori Groves of Atlanta Georgia, Melvina Halthon and Elizabeth Killingham of Danville, and one brother Michael Killingham of Danville. Thirteen grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one great grand daughter, SaNye Denise Naej Brown, one special daughter Lolita Carter and three special friends.
She is proceeded in death by her father, four aunts, one uncle, and one special cousin Robert "Bobby" January jr.
A celebration of Life will commence at 12'noon Wednesday December 15, 2010 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Visitation will be held from 1 - 6pm. Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St. Officiating: Pastor Leo Davis. Intement: Spring Hill Cemetery
