Anthony (Tony) Ray Neal of Urbana IL passed this life @11:54am on October 31, 2019 at OSF in
Urbana, Illinois
Anthony was born on April 10, 1959 in Champaign, Illinois. He was the fourth child of 5 born to
Robert Lewis Neal and Olivia Winfrey Neal.
Tony was raised and educated in Champaign County graduating from Urbana Sr High class of
1977. A natural athlete, Tony excelled at sports lettering in basketball.
After graduating he enlisted US Army serving 4 years, was honorably discharged in 1983 with the
rank of Spec 5. He travel and lived in Houston Tx, Portland Or, and Phoenix Az but decided to
move back to Urbana to be closer to family.
Tony joined ESS Service in 1999 were he was working as Special Service Manger
He confessed his faith in Christ at a early age joining Morning Star Free Will Baptist
His hobbies included anything sport related, cooking and time with family
He is proceeded in death by his father and mother. He leaves behind 1 brother Preston E. Neal of
Mississippi, 3 sisters Vanessa N Buchanan of Urbana, His twin sister Angelia K Neal of
Champaign and Annette Neal of Champaign. He leaves nephews and niece and a host of family,
friends and co worker

A Home going Celebration will commence at 12 noon Friday November 8, 2019 at Leek & Sons Funeral home, 1215 W. Bradley, Urbana. Visitation will be at 11 A.M. until the time of the service. Officiating Pastor Jimmie O. Holmes. Internment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
