Montrez Martice Vonner was born July 8, 1983 In Champaign, IL. to Michael Taylor and Phyllis Driver. Montrez attended Central High School. He enjoyed writing, recording music, playing dominoes, spades, and loved cooking.

On March 11, 2018 at 1:56am Montrez Martice Vonner transitioned from this life.

Montrez leaved to cherish his loving memory, his mother Phyllis Driver, Father Michael Taylor, 3 children: Latoya, Makyla, and unborn son Montrez Jr., Fiance Dashiona Fonville, 6 siblings, Shawn, David, Robert, Shawn of Arizona, Michael and Laura Knox. 2 grandmothers: Bessie Oliver and Ernestine Coleman, and a host of other family members and friends. Montrez was proceeded in death by 2 aunts: Parthena Driver and Laura Driver and 2 cousins, ChoCho Driver and Keith Murray.

A Home Going Celebration will commence at 12:00 noon Saturday March 17, 2018 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley St. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Pastor May Ragland will be officiating. Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley St. in charge of arrangements.
