Huey Lee Brown

Huey Lee Brown 91 of Danville, passed this life Monday April 1, 2024. He was born March 2, 1933 in Danville IL.  He is the son of Willie Lee and Addie Wilson Brown.  Huey was a Danville High School graduate. He enjoyed cooking, sports, church and spending time with family and friends. He served in the U.S. Airforce. Huey was united in marriage to Gloria Jean Micou. She preceded him in death.

Huey is survived by his daughter, Sarah Johnson of Indianapolis IN., sister; Madlean Tharp of Danville IL., three grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Huey was preceded by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

A Celebration of life will commence at 12:00 noon Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Eulogist will be Bishop James Ford. Interment will be at Danville National Cemetery.
